Richard Yang Richard Yang joined IDG Capital Partners in 2008. Prior to joining IDG, Richard worked at the investment banking division of Credit Suisse. While at Credit Suisse, Richard participated in many financing and cross-border M&A transactions of Chinese SOEs and private companies, including China Construction Bank’s US$9.2 billion IPO on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China’s US$22 billion IPO, which was the first A+H concurrent and largest ever IPO in history. Before Credit Suisse, Richard practised law at Shearman & Sterling’s New York office and was involved in financing transactions by American, Chinese and Latin American companies. Richard received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School and Bachelor of Science degree from Beijing University. Richard is a CFA charterholder and admitted to the New York Bar.
