Quan Zhou Quan joined IDG Capital in 1993 and has been the Managing Director since 1995. Quan got his bachelor degree in science from China Science and Technology University in 1981, a master's degree from the Chinese Academy of Science in 1984, and a Ph.D. in fiber optics from Rutgers University in 1989. He has won awards from NASA and holds U.S. patent in fiber optic devices.
